What this is
Everything on Cancun Records is written by one person with strong opinions about groove, swing and low end. When I say a kick hits right or a mix falls flat, that is my read on it; it is not a guarantee of anything. Gear breaks, rooms sound different, and your taste is not mine. Treat the reviews and guides as a starting point for your own listening and testing, not as a promise about how a record, plugin or room will behave for you.
What you may and may not do
Quote me freely; short excerpts with a link back are fine and welcome. Send a paragraph to a mate who needs to hear it. What you may not do is republish pieces wholesale, in any language, with or without credit; that includes copying a full review onto your own site or into a newsletter. No scraping, crawling or bulk harvesting of the content, whether for a dataset, a model or an aggregator. Ask first via the contact page if you want to do something beyond quoting, and I will usually say yes if you are straight about it.
Comments
Comments are for the music and the craft. Disagree with a review, name a better record, argue about low end; all of that is fair. What is not fair: personal attacks, spam, link drops, and anything that treats the comment section as a shop window. I read them and I remove what does not belong, without a debate. Be direct, be useful, be decent.
